the ben identity

hm.. a slight update now.. cant possibly update every single thing that happened since the last entry... well.. i will try to keep it in chronological order...

before dec 1... exams! stressed! sat at my desk in hall almost everyday.. woah. but seem to spend more time slacking.. lol. exams sucked la. even the easy paper also cant do.. lol. econs is the best.. haha.

dec 1. big day. ever since this day, i have not walked at all. zzz.. in case u dun noe wad's happening.. i went for a Brostrom-Gould procedure operation to tighten some ligaments together... read about it here http://www.physicianwebpages.com/pre_design_2/document_disorders.cfm?id=164 haha

anyway... quite an experience going for the op.. went there register and change to hospital robes.. then wait damn long.. then wait outside op theatre.. then go in got needles stuck into me.. lol. then lie down on the table.. and got some stuff stuck onto me. then... one face mask.. breathe in breathe out.. then started smelling some gas.. within 2 breaths.. gone liao. next thing i noe. .. someone was calling me.. to shift to the hospital bed. lol. completely KOed for almost 2 hours. lol. but the drug sucks la.. became nauseous and vommitted. urgh. didnt eat also can vommit... all the gastric juice and wad not. lol

hm so since then.. movement has been inconvenient.. cant believe how difficult it is to take a bus. especially a crowded one. things that were so simple before.. have become so dfficult. even going to the shops downstairs.. i come back gasping for breath. crap. singapore is really not a handicap friendly society.. too many stairs around man! ok. even my home is not handicap frenly. haha.

fast forward to dec 19.. skippin the steamboat at aaron's cafe.. lol dec 19.. d-day! results day. lol. but first went to hospital to put my leg into a hard cast. lol. quite simple the procedure.. its like wrapping a bandage only.. then the thing harden. lol. came back check results and was pleasantly surprised i didnt fail any subject although the grades a bit cannot make it. well. i'm glad i passed. here are my grades..

Principles of Economics : A +

GPA : 2.65

lol. as u can see.. my core all cannot make it.. saved by my elective if not i would have got a GPA below 2 and get an academic warning.. lol..

23rd Dec... went to a hall mate's house for xmas dinner.. lol. quite fun la. and quite a good dinner also. so much food. really xmas kinda feast. lol.. then after that we even had a mahjong session.. haha. finally i didnt lose .. have been on an amazing mahjong losing streak since i dunno when. lol. kena road block 0n the way home in clemence's car.. first time. bu i think the mata see my crutches he just wave us through. lol

25th.. xmas. not much happening. didnt really feel the xmas festive spirit this year. maybe its my leg. lol. stayed home until went to uncle's place. spent the whole time sitting on the sofa. haha. cant move wad.. my cousin tot i was acting cool ... duh.

26th... bowler's chalet and bbq! thanks to ms panda for organising everything. thanks to everyone else for helping out. lol. i think i was the most useless haha. wanted to stay over.. but realised it wasnt very convenient. so after the bbq, i came home. zzz stupid leg.

28th bene's birthday! went to mind cafe with the other bowlers.. quite fun playing those board games.. aaron sucks at what say u? lol. then went to bene's place for his birthday feast. quite a nice party. lol. probably cos we were etertaining ourselves trying to solve the mystery of bene's scandals.. haha..

ok pretty much done with updating. hahaa..

oh yeah. need to specially thank those pple who have gone out of their way to help me with my disability. lol. angela, clemence, shiuh liang, florence, harnie... thanks for the rides! godma for taking care of my lunches.. and sending me to dentist.. lol. and all others for helping in one way or another...

ha quite a long entry liao. hope to be back soon. hahahaha... 12 more days to go!!! hm and for those of u who always complain that 24 hours is not enough in a day... tmr there's an extra second! lol. 24 hours and 1 second! =P enjoy that extra second lol.
